We see patients one-on-one in our 300-square-foot studio at Physica Health. Every session is fully private and all your time is spent privately with the Physiotherapist. We strive to make the experience as personal as possible. We only see one patient at a time, making sure we can provide the best level of care for your physiotherapy experience.

Pre-natal physio will definitely be very helpful as a number of techniques and assessments can be done to help you better in preparation for the birth of your baby. And no, there is no harm to the baby, even during internal exams as techniques are very very gentle 🙂

No! Kya Lewis has taken a number of different courses including Pilates and Integrated Systems Model. The approach that will help in providing physiotherapy does not necessarily need an internal approach.
There will never be any pressure to do an internal exam.

Yes, Pelvic health physiotherapy is covered under insurance and we bill directly to most insurances through the telus eclaims and Blue Cross. Our Physiotherapist is registered under the College of Physiotherapists of BC.

Every case is different but most cases require 4-6 sessions. We will discuss this with you in our first session, and we can formulate a treatment plan based on your needs. Our goal is always to see you less but to provide you with the most efficient and effective treatment.

Not all visits require an internal exam, so we can always wait. However, we can still do an internal pelvic exam. We have a washroom in the clinic, and wipes and tissues!

Yes, we do scar massage post-surgery. Also, during pregnancy and labour, there will be changes to your pelvic floor, so Physiotherapy is highly recommended even if a c-section was performed.

No referral is needed as a Physiotherapist can assess and treat these conditions without a referral.

Yes, everyone is welcome. We have ample space in the clinic and partners are welcome too.
